MYZONE is a heart rate monitor that gives you live feedback on your efforts and connects you to a community. You’ll hear us talk about MEPs a lot during our wellness challenges. Simply put, MEPs are MYZONE Effort Points that level the playing field, so everyone can engage in wellness on their terms. By rewarding you based on your relative intensity (% of maximal heart rate), we can run challenges, gauge the intensity of workouts, and strive for personal bests using wearable technology.

MYZONE provides several ways for accountability and it rewards you when you reach your goals. Ways you can monitor progress include:

  • Custom Personal Goals 
  • Earning status (Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, & Hall of Fame)
  • Participating in challenges with our UDC network
  • Using MYZONE programmed workouts and assessments to track progress

The best part about using your MYZONE is that MEPs don’t have to happen in the gym. Being active in whatever way you love all adds up. The majority of our athletes in fact get their MEPs outdoors – which has even MORE added benefits like boosting mood and alleviating stress. Studies show that people who spend at least 120 minutes in nature a week report higher psychological well-being than those who don’t. You don’t have to run a marathon to feel the benefits.
